As soon as I said I wasn’t around, the bloke got aggressive outta nowhere, telling me to “F off” and worse, even throwing in a death threat. I figured he’d hang up after all the insults, but he just kept going and going. I only stopped it by ending the call myself. Honestly, no clue who he was or what he wanted since he never said a word about it - just straight to abuse the moment I said I wasn’t there.9 yearsSomeone rang me saying I could claim back money for secret fees on my bank account. They already knew my name and where I live. When they asked for my birthday, I made one up. Then they said they'd call again to sort out a cheque. The follow-up call came, asking which bank I use, so I gave a completely different one. They mentioned another call to set up a meeting, where I'd have to show ID like a passport.
