i got calls from some sketchy firm trying to flog home security stuff. the people on the phone were really pushy and quite nasty when i asked them not to call again. even being on the tps register didnt stop them ringing up. the only way they would stop was if i was even harsher with them, which was annoying. best just to block the number or ignore the calls.

When I informed them that I wasn’t keen on their offer and asked them to remove my details from their database, the lady on the line had the audacity to chuckle and question my lack of enthusiasm, suggesting that I hadn’t grasped the details of what they were peddling. It’s baffling-why should I have to justify my disinterest to someone who’s cold-calling me?
