some man rang me saying he was from bt about my internet, saying there were dodgy downloads on my computer. he spoke with a thick asian accent and the noise in the background made it hard to chat properly. i thought it sounded fishy so i told him i was hanging up and then i cut the call.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from BT, insisting that my internet speed wasn't up to par. When I expressed my doubts about his legitimacy, he abruptly terminated the call.

As soon as I picked up, the caller just hung up right away.

Got a call from someone who sounded Asian, saying he was from Openreach and that my modem was apparently sending alerts about slow internet speeds. When I said I don’t even have a computer, he just accused me of lying. I told her this was a cold call and that I’m on the do not call list, then hung up. Definitely a dodgy scam call.
