Got a call on my landline from a number I didn't recognise. I usually only get calls from mates or family, so I didn't pick up. Later, I looked up the number and turns out it was a scam. Definitely dodged a bullet there.

Had a call from someone claiming to be from Sky, saying they needed to upgrade my router because of broadband problems. They didn’t bother asking any security questions and wanted me to use my “main computer” to run some speed test and install something else. They couldn’t say who exactly I was, nor confirm who I was, which was odd. Then I got about 4 more calls after that, each time from a different number. Properly frustrating, they even started shouting at me!

Had a woman calling from India claiming she was from Sky about my internet, but I don’t even use Sky for my connection. Pretty obvious she was trying to scam me.
