today i got a call from some call management place, they were saying i owed money to keep my call blocker active. they told me i signed up with them back in june 13th, which i definitely didnt. when i said that, the caller got really annoyed and said they’d report it to headquarters to cancel the service, then just hung up on me. I told them to go ahead. sounds like a total scam to me, cos when i tried calling the number back, it just had a constant busy tone. anyway, my call blocker still seems fine and i’m definitely blocking their number now.

Every year they ring me up without fail. It's definitely a scam tho. The card number they had was from ages ago, long lost. They asked for £98 today saying I'd get a free membership plus no more cold calls. I told them I don't think so and ended the call after saying goodbye. I've learnt my lesson and won't fall for it again.

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be using my wife’s name as a password, asking for £89 for a second year’s payment. I didn’t fall for it and just ended the call straight away!

I received a call from a chap inquiring about my wife. I informed him she wasn't available at that moment and offered to take a message. He simply hung up without uttering a word. Curious, I tried returning the call thrice, yet each attempt went unanswered.

I got a call to my 90-year-old mum, where they kept saying she’d already sorted the first payment and asked if she could settle the last one. She ended up giving some info, but the bank had to cancel her card afterwards. Then they rang back today claiming the card had issues. Watch out, might be these crooks grabbed details when TalkTalk got hacked or something!

I recently received a rather unwelcome phone call from a service professing to help manage call interruptions. As it turns out, they were attempting to renew my subscription for a second year, despite the fact that I never signed up for it in the first place! Quite the cheek, if you ask me!
