I received a call from a bloke whose voice sounded almost mechanical, as if it had been generated by a machine. He claimed that BT would be disconnecting our internet service within the next day on account of supposed illegal activity. The thing is, I'm not even a BT customer! So, I promptly decided to block the number.

Got a call on my private landline from 01540 678057, with some robotic bloke saying it was BT and my internet would be cut off today. It asked me to press 1 for something or 2 for something else. Totally clearly a scam! If you press anything, I bet it racks up a hefty bill. Seriously hope BT blocks this number and chases after these crooks. Does anyone know how to officially report these dodgy calls to BT???
