Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft, mentioned my Google account had some issues and gave a name, Victoria Xia. She claimed she had my computer’s registration number with Microsoft and asked me to look it up on my PC. She also said I could disconnect the router so she wouldn’t be connected anymore. I didn’t go along with it though.

I’ve told both the police and my phone provider about these scammers, they’re really dangerous folks. Definitely a good idea to report them if you get calls from these numbers.

If you’re getting random calls from Kendal UK Debt firm, don’t just ignore them! They’re harrassing people left, right and centre. Make sure you report these unwanted calls to Ofcom so they get slapped with a fine! Don’t let them get away with this nonsense.

Debt collection firm. Annoying, nonsensical chap keeps ringing me up.

I got a call from some debt collectors claiming I owed money and they could sort it out for me. They asked for me personally by name. I told them to take me off their marketing list, but the guy said he’d only do that if I answered some questions about my debts. So I kept asking whether this was a cold call or not, and he kept going on about how helping people with debts isn’t illegal. After a while, he just gave up and hung up.
