Got a call from someone in Kendal again, just kept ringing and ringing but no message left so I didn’t bother answering. Tried putting my number on the Telephone Preference Service but it doesn’t seem to block any of these nuisance calls. Luckily I found this website and it’s been a great help. Told my neighbours to watch out too.

Just over 40 mins ago I got a call but it went straight to voicemail with no message. This isn’t the first time either - been bombarded like 4 or 5 times with some dodgy warnings about BT Internet cutting us off. Since we’re actually with Virgin Cable, I’m pretty sure it’s all just scammers trying their luck.

Got a call from someone named Shirley warning that my internet would be disconnected unless I pressed 1. This is the third call like this in the last three days, all coming from different phone numbers. I've blocked them now.

My internet protocol has been hijacked. It's a massive con, so steer clear of pressing button 1! Avoid any interaction with these crooks or anyone else involved in this dodgy scam. Stay vigilant!

Got a call with some weird robotic US accent talking about my internet getting cut off and to press 1 to talk to someone. It's such a dodgy scam and could really trick vulnerable folks. They really should do something to stop this rubbish!

I just received yet another dodgy phone call insisting that our internet would be cut off in a day or two, as our provider had apparently been infiltrated by some overseas operative. Remarkably, this marked the second such call we've had today, both supposedly from the technical team at BT. Honestly, the best course of action is to hang up and disregard these types of calls altogether.
