4 yearsReceived a call concerning our website domain from a chap who introduced himself as Luke, claiming to be from PDM. He insisted on talking to the person who originally set up the domain. I mentioned it had been established quite some time ago, and while I wasn't certain who to direct him to, I offered my assistance. Completely sidestepping my input, he demanded to speak to the managing director. I politely informed him that I wouldn’t connect him for such a matter and reiterated my willingness to help. It was at this point he decided to hang up. Quite frankly, he came across as either a rather rude salesman or potentially a scammer. I've searched online but found no information on their company, which leans towards it being the latter. Best to steer clear!LukePDM4 yearsJust got a call from a number I don't recognise, couldn't answer it.5 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be with Nominet, saying I need to buy domains to safeguard my business. Never deal with these people. Tried to offload my business domain, which I’d purchased for a quid right there on the call, for £400 because they claimed it had amazing ‘history’ and ‘credibility’ - years worth apparently. But only if I bought it through their service. Absolute nonsense. Luckily, as an ex-IT guy, I knew exactly what was going on, but they clearly didn’t. In the end, they just ended the call on me. Complete joke.5 yearsSomebody rang up saying they were from Nominet and asked me to call back, but it was obviously a scam.5 yearsJust another spam call, nothing important.5 yearsHad a call from someone claiming they were with Nominet, sounded pretty convincing at first.
