I just got a call from these lot who said they were Accident Management Exchange, claiming they got my info from some Direct Line third party team. They couldn’t tell me the name of anyone involved in an accident, the date, or any proper details. I told them cold calling’s illegal now and under GDPR they need to take my info off their system. Then they just disconnected on me. We’ve never had a quote from Direct Line nor been involved in any accidents, so there’s no way they should have my details. Definitely a scam.

I just got a call from these people claiming to be from Accident Management Exchange, saying they got my info from some team connected to Direct Line. They couldn’t tell me the name of the person involved in the accident or when it supposedly happened, which seemed really odd. I told them cold calling’s illegal now and asked them to delete my info under GDPR rules. Then they just cut me off. We’ve never had any quotes with Direct Line or been involved in any road accidents, so this definitely feels like a scam.

I picked up this call and there was no one on the other end, just silence. From what I've read in the comments here, it might be a cloned number that's marked as private. So yeah, I'd say don't bother ringing back since it could just annoy whoever actually owns that number.

I reckon this number might have been cloned or something. I got a missed call from it and when I dialled 1471, a really nice lady picked up. She said she's battling with BT to fix the problem because loads of folks are getting calls from this number. Seems like she’s been swamped with calls herself. Just thought I’d share this so others are aware.

Told ’em to take me off their list cause I’m on the TPS, but it doesn’t make a difference - they just hang up when I mention it. A few weeks later, they’re back at it again.
