I got a voicemail saying there was an attempt to break into a government site from my phone number and that my line would be cut off in 24 hours. They told me if I hadn't done it, I should call some number in Manchester. Sounded really dodgy to me!

Got a call from someone claiming they were with my internet company, never actually named them. Said they’d disconnect my phone and internet in an hour if I didn’t call back a certain number. The call showed up as from Kendal but the line they wanted me to ring had a Manchester area code. It was some automated message, so no way to argue or say no. Best to just block and ignore these calls.

I got a call saying they’d disconnect my internet and phone service if I didn’t call back that number, which I never recognised. They said it had to be sorted within the hour or something, sounded really urgent.
