My elderly neighbour got a call and the person claimed they're keeping an eye on her. She thought it was just a mate joking, but then they said, "No, seriously, we're watching you," which made her burst out laughing.

Another pointless call, no voicemail left! What’s the point of ringing from some Kendal number that’s been rerouted and can’t be replied to? It’s never even a known number! When will this nonsense stop? It’s messing it up for genuine callers trying to get through.

This automated message told me to hang on while they connected me to someone, but I just ended the call instead.

They ring and when you try to answer, it just ends the call like immediately. I reckon it's one of those cold calls where they just automatically switch to the next phone number.
