seems like a proper dodgy cheap scam to me, no way legit at all

Got a phone call from this number the other day. The person said she was ringing from the accident investigation team about an accident. Then she asked, "Did you cause the accident?" I told her I had no idea what she was talking about and that I hadn’t been in any accident.

As soon as I picked up, the person just ended the call right away. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

ah, those annoying ‘you’ve been in a crash’ calls are the worst! seriously, they should make proper laws to deal with these idiots. they deserve big fines, no doubt!

Got a call about some crash I was apparently in a couple of years back. Didn’t say much, just asked who it was. They kept checking if I could hear them, and after a while, sounded a bit annoyed and ended it. The virus seemed to put a stop to these calls for a while, but now they’re back. I just kept them chatting - must be pricey for them to waste time like that!

The number and area code were both unfamiliar to me, so I chose to let it ring out. There wasn’t any voicemail left afterwards either.
