Some bloke called ‘Ian’ rang me saying he used to own my domain name originally and that I bought it from him. He even mentioned a specific date, probably something he looked up from the public records of when I registered the domain. I was about to hear him out, but I stopped him straight away - sounded like a total scam to me!

They rang me up about some company info but then started pushing other domain names on me. Got pretty pushy when I pushed back.

I picked up the phone, and a voice from the North greeted me with a cheerful 'ello, then abruptly cut off the line.

Somebody rang saying they were from Nominet and wanted to chat with whoever registered the domain. When I asked what it was about, they just wouldn’t tell me anything. I told them alright, goodbye, and ended the call.

Someone rang up wanting to talk to the business owner - which I am, along with my partner. But the caller refused to speak to me, saying only my partner’s name was on the domain registration. They were quite rude and kept pushing that it was about the domain and that my partner needed to take the call. They said they’d send an email to the owner, but never did. So I just ended the call.
