Got a call from these car finance people claiming I’d supposedly got a PCP agreement. Reckon it’s a scam, no way giving them any info. Just block and move on!

This bloke kept calling, saying he could sort out a refund on my car finance overpayment. He was really pushy, kept phoning non stop and wouldn’t take no for an answer. I’d say everyone should just block this number - it’s clearly dodgy. He even had my old address and email plus my name, asked me to confirm my dob which I did before I twigged it was a con. They sent me texts and emails asking me to complete some form and sign it. Definitely don’t trust these people, let others know!

This wasn’t one of those dodgy calls, it was actually from the ‘ok each day’ service which helps older or vulnerable folks. I just got a ring from a really nice woman because my mum, who’s quite elderly, forgot to log in on her system that morning.

Okeachday is the real deal, they ring up mainly to check on older or vulnerable folks, often those in sheltered housing but not just there. It’s a really decent service, I think.

I spoke to an elderly individual who referred to someone as a kind gentleman. This person seemed to have in-depth knowledge about the house, but couldn't provide any additional information. Their behaviour raised some suspicions in my mind. Afterwards, I called back and left a message on their answering machine. They returned the call, but when I answered, they abruptly ended the call without saying anything.

This phone number belongs to Alert A Call, a company that provides a daily service for people who live alone. I was referred to Alert A Call by my doctor's surgery about a month ago. You can find their full address when searching for them on Google, but not this particular phone number. I am a new participant and as far as I know, this is a legitimate company.
