I got a call from a guy claiming to be from a phone company, called Simon, but his accent was really thick Indian, so I was a bit iffy. He tried to sell me a deal on my internet and phone service but didn’t seem to know who my provider was or anything about my bill. I played along for a bit then told him his deal actually cost more than what I’m already paying. He was quite polite and just ended the call after that.

Got a call from 01539 24 2026 but never picked up straight away cos I didn’t know the number. Waited for the voicemail but the moment it started, the call just hung up. Proper callers usually leave a message, right?

At about 8:46 this morning, my phone showed a call from 01539 242026 but I didn't pick up. Nowadays, I hardly take calls straight away, I usually ring 1471 to see who's calling because I get loads of dodgy calls. This one smelt fishy too - if it was something urgent, they'd have left a voicemail, but there was nothing. Pretty sure it's just another scam.
