Those pesky spammers are back at it, aren't they? How on earth do they manage to get hold of an ex-directory number? It's utterly baffling. Honestly, they deserve a proper slap on the wrist, or even better, a hefty fine each time they dial. A million quid wouldn’t be too much, if you ask me!

I've received calls from this number on four separate occasions over the past two weeks. I have a sneaking suspicion it might be some sort of nuisance call.

Received a missed call from 01538814994, which seems a bit dodgy—either spam or some market research nonsense. When I tried calling back, I got an automated message from an American lady saying the number was invalid, but didn't provide any further details. It feels like they might have switched numbers because of all the complaints they’ve been getting. Just a heads-up to keep your guard up!

allegedly hails from Carphone Warehouse

I received a rather dodgy phone call recently. The individual on the other end was clearly attempting to con me, seeking my banking information. They masqueraded as representatives of Carphone Warehouse, claiming they had some exciting new phone promotions to share. It was all rather suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call from one number earlier, and shortly after, I was contacted by 01538814994 right after I blocked the original caller. Seems like it could be the same individual, so I've gone ahead and blocked this one too!

Unwanted junk!

I was rather taken aback when the call was picked up by a voicemail from Carphone Warehouse.

The line has gone dead.

Received a call from +441538814994 which I didn’t pick up. My phone flagged it as a potential nuisance. I’ve promptly added it to my block list!
