On the 6th of April, 2021, I received a rather alarming call stating that my broadband connection was being misused unlawfully and would be terminated within a day. They prompted me to press 1 and various other options. Clearly, it's a dodgy scam.

On 6 April 21, I got loads of calls from someone saying there’s illegal stuff happening on my internet and that it’ll get cut off in 24 hours unless I press 1 or whatever. Total scam, I just hung up straight away.
