I received a rather alarming call today from someone claiming to be from Sky, saying they were going to cut off our broadband service. The thing is, Sky isn't even our provider! Quite baffling, really.

Out of curiosity, I called 1471 to trace the number, and that’s how I found out it was this one. Just a heads up—if you do end up answering, I’d recommend being cautious and not divulging any sensitive information.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from Sky, claiming there was a virus on my phone line. It felt rather dubious, to say the least. I kept him talking for a bit, just to gauge his reaction, and eventually called him out as a scammer. His response?
