Today, we received four separate calls claiming to be from Amazon Prime, each one originating from a different number but all sporting the 0153 area code. The calls featured a pre-recorded female voice, mentioning a charge of £79.99 and prompting us to press 1 to talk to a service manager. The thing is, we don’t even subscribe to Amazon Prime. The number 01538320737 was among them. We’re also on the ex-directory list and registered with TPS, so this is rather puzzling!

It was a recorded woman’s voice saying something about a £79.99 charge and to press 1 to talk to a service manager. Problem is, we don’t even have Amazon Prime. The number they called from was 01538320737. Just to add, we’re ex-directory and registered with the TPS.
