Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, saying he was from some accident helpline. I haven't had any accidents recently, but I didn’t mention that. I just told him to stop bothering me and not to ring back.

This morning, I received a call from a chap who sounded Asian, claiming to represent an Accident Helpline. Truth be told, I’ve never been in any such predicament, but I opted not to share that with him. Instead, I firmly insisted he leave me be and made it clear that I wasn’t interested in whatever he had to say. I told him not to bother calling again.

Answered the phone but only got the voicemail, no message left. Did a quick search and it seems like this is another one of those motor insurance scams. Unlike what someone else said, I don’t think they use the DVLA records, probably getting info from the MIB (Motor Insurers' Bureau) database, which anyone can look up online. I also checked out the claim that it’s from Redecentric Solutions Ltd, but they don’t even have an office in Ipstone, Staffordshire! (just Google them yourself). They're more of an IT company, not a call centre or anything that would be behind these calls.

On 10/11/16 around 2:10pm, I got a call from an unknown number so I just let it ring out to voicemail, no message was left. Later I checked the number on Truecaller and it showed up as Redcentric Solutions Ltd, Ipstone Staffordshire. Over the last 3 months I've had loads of calls from different numbers like this and now I just ignore any calls unless I know who it is.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with an accident helpline, but they were ringing a 91 year old lady who’s never even been behind the wheel. Felt like a total scam to me.

somebody called me askin if i'd had any accidents, i told them nope nothing happenin in the past 5 years. they were polite and didnt push after that, so i just blocked the number to stop them callin again. it’s just one of those usual calls from legal types tryin to stir up claims that arent legit. honestly, i wish we lived in a world where people were honest and insurance payouts were less because they’re only for true cases.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the National Accident Helpline, inquiring about an accident I've supposedly been involved in-though to be honest, I’ve never had one. They mentioned that they obtained my number from the Motor Insurance Bureau. Despite being registered with the telephone preference service and having all the withheld numbers blocked, I still find myself plagued by these frustrating calls now and then. Quite mad, isn't it?

Received a call from someone claiming I’d been involved in a car crash lately, which is completely untrue. When I inquired about how they obtained my number, they mentioned the Motor Insurance Bureau. Oddly, they insisted it must have been shared by a family member, which is not the case.
