I spotted an incoming call on my screen labelled as INTERNATIONAL 01538-304667, which immediately prompted me to ignore it. To my surprise, it appeared to resemble a UK landline, so I thought I’d give it a go and returned the call. Instead, I was met with a recorded message stating, "This number is not recognised." It leads me to ponder if it was indeed an overseas call but cleverly disguised as a local number. I’ve decided to block it anyway. I’ve come across similar reports from others on a different site, with one person mentioning that the caller was an automated voice claiming to be from Amazon Prime.

A call showed up on my phone as INTERNATIONAL 01538-304667, so I didn’t pick up. It seemed like a UK number though, so I gave it a ring back, only to get a message saying, "This number is not recognised." Seems like it was actually from abroad, but whoever called had managed to spoof the number on my caller ID. I’m definitely going to block it now.
