They kept ringing but never left a message. After I found out who it was, I just blocked the number.

I got a bunch of missed calls all in one day but no one left a voicemail. The area code matched Bettering, which is close to where I live. However, like others have mentioned, it doesn't seem legit at all - someone else pointed out the code is actually linked to somewhere in Yorkshire. Seems like just another cold call to me.

I received a call yesterday regarding something to do with finance, I believe! However, I was rather perplexed as the person on the other end rattled off at such a pace that I struggled to keep up. After a bit of back and forth, where I had to raise my voice to get them to pause, I finally managed to explain my hearing difficulties. With all the background noise, I requested that they speak more slowly and clearly, but they remarked that it was just their speaking style and that they couldn’t adjust it. They mentioned they would have a manager reach out to me later. I even asked if they could kindly repeat their name and the company they represented so I could determine if I wanted to engage further. However, I was met with an awkward silence before they disconnected the call. Now, that same number has rung through again, and after 30 seconds of me saying 'Hello' with no response, I decided to take a stand and said, 'Right then, I'll report this number.'
