Same thing happens to me, just silence or scams ringing my landline. My mobile gets the odd real call, but mostly it’s the same sort of nonsense or just dead air. When they do start talking, I turn the tables and ask them why they’re calling instead, sometimes getting a bit salty back at them. Blocking numbers feels pointless since they just keep coming from new random ones anyway. Honestly, how are these spam numbers even allowed to be created? I feel sorry for older folks, especially women like me, who get stressed out over this constant nuisance.
