I received a rather dodgy call the other day, an automated voice claiming to be from my bank. It mentioned a payment of £150 to Amazon and another payment to some unknown entity. Silly me, I got rather frustrated and swore before I promptly disconnected and blocked the number through BT. They had the audacity to ring my landline!
