He said something about checking up on an accident, but I was confused because I don’t recall any accidents in the past two and a half years. I asked him what accident he meant, but all he kept doing was repeating if there had been any accidents in that time frame. When I joked that it’d be hard to follow up on something he wasn’t clear about, he just kept asking the same question again. Eventually, I just said I guess there must’ve been one. That seemed to annoy him and he abruptly ended the call. Honestly, after the whole weird exchange, I felt like I hadn’t lost anything by not catching what he was actually trying to say.
