Got a phone call from this number saying I was entitled to a refund for some appliances. They asked if I wanted the money put straight on my card, but I told them to post me a cheque since they already had my address. The bloke said most folks choose that and it usually takes around 20 days, which I was happy with. He tried to convince me to take the card payment instead, but eventually agreed to send the cheque. I’m not expecting anything though, feels like a classic scam to me.
