some bloke called himself gary and wanted to chat with someone who had a weird mix of names, which was both the name on the phone account and my first name. no clue how they got that info. i told him straight up that the person wasnt at this place and then hung up.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, so I asked her why she was ringing me since I’m on the TPS list. She actually said sorry and then I hung up on her.

Got a call from some bloke, he said his name was Kevin (though that seemed odd for an Indian guy). He wanted me to take part in some consumer survey. I said no thanks quite nicely, but then he started getting proper rude and swearing. I told him I wasn’t going to keep chatting with someone like that, but he kept shouting even as I ended the call!

It’s absolutely shameful how they keep bugging vulnerable folks nonstop. If we were interested in buying anything they offer, we’d call them ourselves. They should seriously face legal action for ignoring requests to take us off their call list. Even after clearly saying no thanks, they just won’t stop. Total rubbish behaviour.

Got another one of those silent calls today, but you can hear some people chatting faintly in the background. Honestly, these numbers ought to be blocked and the people behind them should be held responsible for all the lies and wasting our time. My mum got scammed out of £250 from a call like this, and as her son, I really think it's about time someone did something to stop this nonsense.

I said hello twice with no reply, then an English bloke finally picked up, I could hear office noises in the background so I just ended the call. Just another number getting blocked now.
