4 yearsGot a call from what seemed like my bank’s security team, or so they claimed, saying they noticed a couple of dodgy charges on my account - something like £300 on Amazon and another bigger one, maybe about £1,200, sent via money transfer. They never actually said which bank they were from, so my scam alert bells went off straight away. They asked me to press 1 to stop the payments or 2 to speak with someone, but I didn’t fall for it.
