This number 01536523613 called me and just rang for ages before I picked up. But the moment I said hello, they just ended the call straight away. Quite odd!

Some bloke said he was with Microsoft and accused me of hanging up on him. Turns out it was the same Lancashire number from before that tried pulling that computer scam on me. I’d told 'em I wasn’t bothered and they hung up then anyway.

Got a call supposedly from Microsoft about a laptop, but I told them I don't have one. They then wanted to know what device I actually use. I told them it wasn’t any of their concern and that since we’re registered with TPS, they shouldn’t be calling. They kept saying it was a “hot” call, absolutely refusing to admit it was cold calling. When I asked for info to report it as a scam, they wouldn't provide any. They just kept insisting it wasn’t cold calling. In the end, I disconnected the call.

Never seen this number before so I just ignored it! It was coming from somewhere near Kettering and we haven't got any contacts there. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft’s security team, saying my PC was under serious threat and I had to do what they said on my screen. I asked for some kind of ID or proof, and the bloke said he could give me a serial number only Microsoft knows about (no clue what he was on about). He even knew my name and where I live. I wasn’t having any of it and ended the call. Later, I checked Microsoft’s genuine announcement and they clearly say they don’t ring people out of the blue and warned not to share any info or download stuff at their request. Total scam!
