Got a call earlier today from a woman who said her name was Lydia and that she was with RCA Legal. Hello there! I’m not familiar with this number at all, and I can't seem to find it in my contacts either. I gave it a ring back, but it just disconnected straight away. I'm curious about how they ended up contacting me, and, more importantly, whether it’s some sort of scam. Any insights would be appreciated!

They've rung me up twice now. This time, some woman said I’d had an accident. I told her how annoying it is to keep getting these daft calls, but she said she couldn’t hear me and just hung up. Seems like she’s fed up too, eh? I’m gonna try and block this number now. But honestly, seeing all the comments here, you’d think someone getting paid for this would have sorted it out by now and saved us all the hassle!

This number has called me loads of times. Once they actually got me on the line and said I’d been involved in a crash, but they cut off before I could say anything back. That was a few months ago, like in August. Since then, they ring maybe every week, but just leave missed calls and no messages. After reading everyone else’s comments, I’m definitely going to block it now.

They claimed to be from a law office and mentioned they knew I’d been in some sort of accident. When I told them that wasn’t true, they started asking questions about my family. I didn’t fancy it, so I just ended the call.

This number keeps calling me, always with that rubbish about agreeing to calls and some story about an RTA. I saw there’s like 20,000 complaints on it already. How come BT or Ofcom haven’t blocked it yet? It’s proper annoying.
