Got another phonecall, this time from a bloke claiming to be from the electricity supplier, saying there was an issue with our account and billing. He asked for our Meter Reference to “fix” the invoices. We’ve got no problems with those at all. When I told him I’d ring the supplier myself to check, he got all dodgy and wouldn’t give me any contact info. Pretty obvious it was a scam, if you ask me.
