Got four calls today claiming to be from Amazon Prime, all coming from various numbers but each starting with 0153. It was a recorded woman’s voice saying something about a £79.99 charge and to press 1 to talk to a service manager. Problem is, we don’t even have Amazon Prime. One of the numbers was 01536325037. We’re ex-directory and registered with TPS, so quite annoying!

Today, we received four separate calls that claimed to be from Amazon Prime, each time from different numbers but all starting with the same 0153 code. The calls featured a recorded female voice mentioning a charge of £79.99 and asked us to press 1 to get in touch with a customer service manager. The thing is, we don’t even have an Amazon Prime account! The number we noted down was 01538320737. By the way, we’re ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Quite the nuisance!
