Got a call from a lady with a strong Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft, but gave me a name that sounded very English. I told her straight away I wasn’t going to switch on my laptop for her, and she rudely told me to “shut up and listen”. Funny thing is, I mostly use my iPad anyway. I hung up, but right after, the phone rang from another number, totally different area code. I didn’t pick up, and it stopped when voicemail kicked in. Feels like the same scammer trying a different number from somewhere else. Definitely a dodgy call.
