A few weeks back, we received a call from this company, and after a wait of about six weeks, our shiny new BlackBerry arrived! Ever since, we’ve been getting our monthly statements from Orange, complete with a nifty ten percent off on the line rental. All in all, we’re over the moon with the service!

Received a call on the 5th of May, 2010, around 1:07 PM. The caller claimed they were from a company looking to lower our monthly bill and send us a brand new Nokia as a gesture of appreciation for sticking with Orange. They had quite an impressive amount of our personal details, including our phone number, name, and address, which made it seem quite credible. We didn't share any info ourselves, but they promised the phone and SIM card would be delivered within five to seven working weeks. However, we’re still waiting and nothing has arrived!

We rang the number again from our landline, and a voice introduced themselves as Connect, expressing gratitude for our patronage with Orange. They proceeded to mention some discounts on new phones. When we clarified that we’re on PAYG, they quickly apologised for the mix-up and assured us they’d remove our number from their records. Strangely enough, though, they didn’t even ask us what our number was! Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

Indeed, this company seems to offer lower line rental rates for those with an Orange connection. Since we are affiliated with Orange and utilise a company-provided phone, I can confirm that these individuals were quite courteous in their communication. They’re not involved in debt collection whatsoever.

Today, I had a rather dubious phone call from a company trying to persuade me to renew my Orange contract, despite the fact that we've got another year left! They insisted that my current plan was somehow up for renewal and suggested I take on a new phone under a new plan. This would have meant paying for two devices simultaneously! Their alternative? A move to 3 and switching my number. What a scandalous con! Be careful, everyone!

Just a quick follow-up on my earlier message. "Received a call on the 5th of May at precisely 13:07, where the caller claimed they were contacting us to lower our monthly bill and promised a new Nokia phone as a reward for being a loyal Orange customer. They seemed quite legitimate, as they had all of our details-phone number, name, address, you name it. We refrained from giving them any personal information, yet they guaranteed that we'd receive our new phone and SIM card within a timeframe of five to seven working days. However, as of today, 9th of June, we’ve yet to see anything arrive."

Had a missed call on the 29th of March at 14:49. That’s literally all I could find online regarding this number. Not quite sure if it’s just a fluke, but we’re on Orange, by the way.

I rummaged through our documents and found that the company contacted Get Connected. They also have a website, which is get-connected.com.

We received a call from this number, and they seemed to have all our details. They promised to cut our monthly bill by 10% and send a brand new Nokia phone upgrade on the 27th of April. However, nothing has come through, and after reaching out to Orange, they have no record of such an offer and mentioned that we're not due for an upgrade just yet. I'm quite concerned, especially since we had to confirm our date of birth and postcode during the call.

Last week, this company gave us a ring and mentioned a phone deal. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but after going through all the terms and conditions, I realised everything was above board.

I received a call from this number about ten weeks back. The chap we talked to was absolutely delightful and laid everything out for us comprehensively. We decided to go for the upgrade and take advantage of the discount offered. We were told the new phone would show up within 5 to 7 working days, but it didn't arrive as expected. After reaching out again, we had a chat with Mick, one of the team leaders, who was very apologetic. He clarified that the delay was due to low stock levels and a recent backlog, which, amusingly enough, was the very same issue we initially encountered. Anyway, we finally got our new Nokia this afternoon, and we’re quite chuffed with it. No need to fret!

I've been getting a ton of missed calls from this number, and honestly, I haven't got the foggiest idea who they are or how they even got hold of our number. When Orange shared our details, it was done without us knowing or giving any sort of permission. Such a nuisance!

This company reached out to us and proposed a deal for a new phone along with a 10% discount on our bills. Initially, I was quite apprehensive about the whole situation. Eventually, we received the phone, but it took an astonishing ten weeks due to some backlog problem they were experiencing. I'm still tied up with Orange for our payments, and since the handset is also an Orange device, I'm rather perplexed about how this arrangement with the dealer operates.

We dialled the number again from our landline and got through to some individuals who identified themselves as "Connect". They expressed gratitude for our use of Orange and mentioned they were eager to offer us a discount on a new mobile. When we clarified that we’re on a pay-as-you-go plan, they quickly backtracked, apologising for the mix-up. They assured us that they would remove our number from their records, yet mysteriously, they didn’t bother to confirm what our number actually was! Quite the odd encounter, really.
