I had a peculiar phone call today purporting to be from an Amazon representative, or so the caller claimed. He sounded distinctly Indian and had quite a pronounced accent, despite introducing himself as Francis. It all felt rather dodgy, especially as he was prattling on about my Amazon Prime subscription. I refrained from divulging any personal details, so we wrapped up the call rather quickly. After some digging, I discovered that the number was in no way linked to Amazon. Definitely a scam!

I keep getting a recorded call claiming to be from Amazon Prime, trying to scam me. It happens a few times daily from loads of different phone numbers. Totally annoying!
