Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent who said she was from BT, telling me my internet security had been breached recently and claimed my IP had switched to some private one. If you know anything about computers, it’s clear nonsense, just the usual techy mumbo jumbo scam. She sounded quite polite and spoke nicely till I started giving her a load of my mind. Still, I guess people who aren’t clued up might find it a bit convincing on the surface.
