6 yearsI got a call from some robotic voice saying I’d been in an accident, then it put me through to a bloke with an Indian accent. He said I had to give him info about the crash to ‘pass GDPR’ before he could tell me the company’s name, his identity, or even my own details. I told him I worked in car insurance so I knew this was dodgy and he was just fishing for info, but he denied it. So I made up a story about being rear-ended at some traffic lights - didn’t say where or anything. He said that was enough to pass the GDPR check, then he gave me a random name and said it was mine. I told him he was wrong and that he’d failed the check, and then he called me a liar and slammed the phone down after I told him I don’t even drive!6 yearsGot a call from some robotic voice saying I’d been in an accident.
