I received a dodgy call from someone claiming they were sorting out a hacking issue. They tried to pressure me into jumping on my computer to grant them access, which clearly sounded like a scam. I cut them off and told them to cease their fraudulent antics before ending the call. Ridiculous!

Today, I received a call from this number. An Asian gentleman was on the line, asserting that he represented my Windows service provider. I expressed my doubts about his identity and threatened to involve the police. He promptly ended the call.

I received a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent claiming to represent a firm based in Lincoln, though I couldn’t quite catch the name she mentioned. It was all a bit dodgy, so I decided to hang up. Oddly enough, the area code 01534 is actually associated with Guernsey, which is part of the Channel Islands, not Lincoln. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?
