Scammers like these are just out to steal your details and use them for dodgy stuff. Best thing you can do is block the number and report it asap.

They’re total scammers, ringing up anyone whose email and phone number they managed to grab. It’s like they’re targeting absolutely everyone. I heard they linked up one number to a machine that then spat out loads of different phone numbers, even ones from other countries. Proper fraud, if you ask me.

Looks like they're pulling the same stunt on everyone, no exceptions.

I’ve been getting loads of calls from all sorts of numbers lately. I reckon it all started when I almost got caught up in some Elon Musk bitcoin scheme I saw on the Windows 11 news feed on my PC. There was a female journalist on that feed who claimed she’d put in her details - phone number, name, email - on some form connected to the story, then invested £250 in bitcoin and supposedly made profit within 30 minutes. Curious, I clicked the link and gave my info, but then the scammers started ringing me. They were oddly friendly but kept pushing for my money and wanted me to fill in more forms before they’d send me any bitcoin trading software by email. I gave them my number and answered once, but I never completed any forms since I was suspicious. After that, my phone blew up with nearly twenty calls a day from different numbers, none of which I picked up. Then yesterday, I got an email full of broken English telling me it was my final chance to fill out the forms and register for the software. No phone calls today so far, so maybe they’ve given up on me. From what I’ve read online, this is a total scam run by a company in Poland, and they aren’t registered with any financial authority. Just be careful with stuff that looks legit, like the news feed on Windows 11 - it’s not always what it seems!

This person keeps ringing me up and starts shouting all sorts of nasty things just because I don’t want to buy their stuff. It’s proper rude and abusive.
