I had a call this morning purporting to be from Amazon, claiming there was some dodgy activity linked to my account. It was an automated voice message that came through at an ungodly hour. Obviously a scam, considering I don’t even have an Amazon account!

Got a voicemail early this morning, just after 7am, saying there’d been a purchase on my Amazon account. This isn’t the first time either - had a call like this before, but that one was an actual person. I reckon the early timing’s deliberate, trying to catch you off guard while you’re still half asleep, hoping you’ll freak out and hit 1. Total scam if you ask me!
