Just got a call from a woman claiming to be Sophie from the Driveway Team. She mentioned checking if I’m eligible for some kind of government scheme for a free driveway, or something along those lines. She then asked if I own the house and if I’m under eighty years old. I told her I don’t need a new driveway and then the line went dead! We’re on the TPS list, so I’m not sure why they keep ringing me up.

Got a call from an unknown number - no clue who it was! It might be the same rubbish scammers behind 01332 323143 since they rang just a couple of minutes apart. I left it to the voicemail as I do with strange numbers. No message was left, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. My advice? Don’t ever ring back an unknown number, it could be one of those premium rate scams that cost you a fortune (seriously, look it up!). If it was something important, they’ll ring again or leave a message. If not, it clearly wasn’t that urgent, and at least you haven’t lost anything!
