Some bloke rang me, said his name was Daniel. I asked who he was and how he managed to get hold of my number. He claimed I’d signed up with his firm, which I definitely hadn’t. When I kept pressing him about where he got my details from, he started getting all defensive. Then he told me he was involved in bitcoin trading, but it felt more like a scam. He got more and more worked up when I kept questioning him. I just told him if he was a proper company, he wouldn’t waste time arguing like that. After that, he just hung up on me.
