He kept dodging when I asked where exactly he was ringing from, but eventually said he worked for some official ‘motor accident claims assessor’. I was dead straight with him, asked if he was after making a claim on us (we’re not that type), and he suddenly got really nasty. I just told him to shove off and ended the call. I reckon if someone was feeling vulnerable or scared, he could’ve easily tricked them into spilling all sorts of info.

They kept calling and acting like they were mates I knew, even started threatening me out of the blue. Total ambulance chasers, no doubt.
