got a call with no sound, just silence on the other end. really weird and annoying!

Got a call from a woman called C. Brown, claimed to be from some call blocking team. Spoke really well, but you could tell she wasn’t local due to her accent. She had my surname, first initial, and even my postcode. She started asking about my direct debit for my phone payments, then tried to pass me onto someone about upgrading my call blocking service. When I asked what company she worked for, she said it was "Opton Telecoms" and that they offered call blocking for any phone provider. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
