Got a recorded call claiming to be from TalkTalk’s tech support, saying my internet would cut out at midnight. They gave loads of options to choose by pressing numbers on the phone. I decided to block the number from my account to be safe.

I just picked up my landline and got a recorded message saying my IP address was hacked or something and to press ‘1’ to fix it. I didn’t bother pressing anything and hung up straightaway because it definitely sounded dodgy. After that, I blocked the number and activated call safe to avoid getting calls like this again.
