Just got a load of calls from this number on my phone a little while ago. I ignored it since I didn’t know who it was - I never pick up numbers I don’t recognise. They kept on ringing for quite a bit, then called again soon after. I’ve blocked the number now, cheers to this site for helping out. Stay safe, everyone.

Got a robocall saying I had a warrant for my arrest from the tax people. Total scam! HMRC would never do that kind of thing. Best just to ignore it and hang up straight away.

Watch out, this is a scam claiming to be from HMRC. They say I’ve got a tax fraud issue and threaten arrest. It's really frightening if you haven’t heard about it before!
