Just got a call saying my internet is hacked and to press one to chat with a tech expert - honestly, sounds like a joke to me.

Got a robo call supposedly from my internet company warnin' me they'll cut off my connection if I don't pay up. Funny thing is, as I’m listening to it, I’m tryin' to figure out this weird smell in the air. Then it hits me - it's total rubbish! Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

Got a call claiming to be from my internet firm saying my IP address had been hacked by loads of countries and threatening to switch off my internet. They told me to press 1 to talk to their “tech team” who’d sort me out with a brand new router for free. What a dodgy scam! If you press ‘1’ you’ll probably end up on an overpriced premium number or get scammed some other way. Honestly, just hang up straight away. No doubt it’s a total con.

Lol, it’s always that “Shirley” bot with the same tired spiel about your internet being at risk. Honestly, telecommunication firms need to get a grip and fix this already. So annoying!
