Got a call on my landline about confirming a £600 transaction. I’ve heard about these scams so I just ended the call. When I rang back, some woman picked up. Seems like they’re faking all sorts of landline numbers!

So, this number rang our landline and there was this robotic voice asking me to press a button to verify a payment of £600 being sent to my account. I just ended the call straight away. Later, I thought I’d ring them back and a woman picked up. I stayed silent and then she suddenly hung up. Really odd behaviour, if you ask me.
