I’ve just had yet another call from them. This time, they assured me that I was to receive vouchers totalling £150 to be used at any Tesco or ASDA outlet. I mentioned to the caller, whom I believe went by 'Juvy', that I needed a moment to verify with Tesco if those vouchers would indeed be valid. Suddenly, there was a dead silence, then a quick 'goodbye' from her. Naturally, I decided to ring Tesco's customer service to clarify things, and surprise, surprise, they claimed to have no knowledge whatsoever of the National Audit and Statistics Centre. I really can’t stand being deceived…

I’ve just had a rather peculiar call from a supposed "National Audit and Statistics Centre." Naturally, I was curious and inquired about which nation they represented. After a bit of back and forth, the caller settled on the UK. They claimed to be "representing" this so-called centre and were reaching out "on its behalf." I couldn’t help but challenge them on whether they were genuinely calling from the centre or merely acting on its behalf, as those are quite distinct statements. The response? Apparently, this "National Audit and Statistics Centre" is merely a "private company." At that juncture, I firmly expressed my disinterest in their purported three-minute survey and promptly ended the call. A quick search of their name led me to this very page.

I received a call from an outfit claiming to be the "National Audit and Statistics Centre," stating they wished to carry out a brief marketing survey lasting about three minutes. Whilst still on the line, I decided to look them up online, but I couldn't find any trace of such an organisation. As I was searching, the lady on the phone mentioned she would reward me with £250 worth of gift vouchers for my participation. Consequently, I inquired about their location since I couldn't find any information on Google, and to my surprise, she abruptly hung up. I strongly advise against sharing any personal information with this dodgy scam!
